Gun Rights

As a proud lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, I recognize the importance of protecting the second amendment rights of every American citizen. Our Founding Fathers expressed as much in our Bill of Rights, saying in part, “a well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." As your voice in Congress, I take the responsibility to defend and preserve this right seriously. My support for the Second Amendment remains strong and that I will fight against any attempt to diminish our fundamental right as American citizens to bear arms.
