The Congressional Award provides opportunities for young people to unleash their potential by achieving personal goals focused on volunteerism, character development, and fitness.
The Congressional Award is the United States Congress’ highest award for young Americans. It is non-partisan, voluntary, and non-competitive.
The program is open to all youth in the US between the ages of 14 and 24 regardless of ability, circumstance, or socioeconomic status.
Launched in 2015, The Congressional App Challenge’s mission intends to engage middle and high school students’ creativity and encourage their participation in STEM, coding, and computer science education.
A congressional internship provides a distinct perspective on the operations of a congressional office and the legislative process. In the District offices and the Washington, DC office, internships are generally in the summer months and are divided into three sessions: May to June, June to July, and July to August. There are also semester-long internships in the Fall and Spring in both our Washington, DC, and Huntsville, AL offices.
