Congressional App Challenge

Launched in 2015, The Congressional App Challenge’s mission intends to engage middle and high school students’ creativity and encourage their participation in STEM, coding, and computer science education.

Every year we challenge students in AL-05 to create and submit their original apps for a chance to win the Congressional App Challenge (CAC) and have their work on exhibit in the US Capitol. The CAC allows students to compete with peers in AL-05 by creating and exhibiting their software applications for web, PC, tablet, mobile devices, and other platforms of their choice.

The 2024 competition has ended. Please check back or call our office for details on the 2025 competition.
