WASHINGTON— After a historic Speaker of the House Vote went to the 15th ballot, Congressman Dale W. Strong (AL-05) was sworn into office to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives for the 118th Congress.

Congressman Strong says he is honored to step into this new role and is ready to get to work for North Alabama.

“It is time move forward together on common sense conservative solutions and priorities that our party has championed to improve the lives of Americans. This includes securing our borders, strengthening our economy, and protecting the life of the unborn,” says Congressman-elect Dale W. Strong.

Strong, along with every other Republican member of the Alabama delegation, voted for Kevin McCarthy as Speaker of the House.

“I believe that a unified majority is necessary to best serve the American people. I am pleased that the House can now focus on the enormous challenges facing our country.  I look forward to working with my colleagues in Congress to deliver results for the people of North Alabama and focus on the job you sent me to Washington to do.”
