Strong Advocates for North Alabama Defense Priorities During NDAA Markup

WASHINGTON— Today, U.S. Representative Dale W. Strong (AL-05), member of the House Armed Services Committee (HASC), is joining his colleagues in marking up H.R. 8070 the “Servicemember Quality of Life Improvement and National Defense Authorization Act” for Fiscal Year 2025.
Rep. Strong has made a commitment to advocate for common sense and strategic national security programs, as well as provisions that directly benefit North Alabama, Redstone Arsenal, and the state of Alabama as a whole.
“North Alabama understands the importance of providing America’s men and women in uniform what they need to accomplish the mission. As your Representative, I have prioritized listening to service members, leadership on Redstone Arsenal, and constituents from North Alabama to ensure their priorities are reflected in this year’s bill. I will always champion what the Tennessee Valley does best: missile defense, research and development, and national security space and cybersecurity programs,” said Representative Dale W. Strong.
