“Tonight, we saw a wildly political speech from a president seemingly obsessed with President Trump. Joe Biden mentioned his “predecessor” fourteen times but failed to label illegal crossings at our southern border as a crisis even once. Tonight’s speech proves that he remains unwilling to acknowledge the realities facing American families.

WASHINGTON — Representative Dale W. Strong is pleased to announce a new Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) grant for $7 million that will go towards terminal improvements at Huntsville International Airport. 

The grant funds were awarded from the Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 Airport Terminal Program. The grant will fund eligible portions of renovations at the airport such as the expansion of the concourse for new ADA compliant restrooms, a new nursing room, terminal escalators, and expansion of the terminal public area near the ticket counters.

WASHINGTON— Representative Dale W. Strong issued the following statement after the House Committee on Homeland Security voted to advance articles of impeachment against Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas:  

“A yearlong investigation conducted by the House Committee on Homeland Security revealed numerous instances where Secretary Mayorkas has blatantly disregarded his obligation to his oath and to the American people. Mayorkas has willfully refused to comply with and enforce federal immigration law as passed by Congress.

WASHINGTON—Representative Dale W. Strong slammed the Biden Administration’s open border policies during this week’s House Committee on Homeland Security hearing. The hearing, entitled, “Voices for the Victims: The Heartbreaking Reality of the Mayorkas Border Crisis” was part of the committee’s impeachment proceedings against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

WASHINGTON — Congressman Dale W. Strong (AL-05) announced his nomination of 30 students across North Alabama to United States service academies. 

Prior to receiving a U.S. service academy nomination through Congressman Strong, candidates must meet certain academic, leadership, and character standards. Congressman Strong’s inaugural nomination slate consists of public, private, specialty, and homeschooled student leaders.
