WASHINGTON — The House Armed Services Committee is launching an investigation into the continued delays in the selection of a permanent base for the U.S. Space Command (SPACECOM) Headquarters at the request of Congressman Dale W. Strong (AL-05).

Mark McDaniel has served on the NASA Advisory Council to five NASA Administrators: Daniel Golden, Sean O’Keefe, Michael Griffin, Jim Bridenstine, and Bill Nelson. The NASA Advisory Council is the Nation's highest civilian advisory board for NASA, and Mr. McDaniel has served for more than two decades.
WASHINGTON — Today, Congressman Dale W. Strong (AL-05) joined several colleagues to introduce H.J.Res.44 to stop the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms’ (ATF) rule expanding enforcement over pistol braces.
In January, ATF released a rule to reclassify millions of commonly owned pistols with stabilizing braces as short-barreled rifles and shotguns under the National Firearms Act of 1934.
