WASHINGTON— U.S. Representative Dale Strong (AL-05), a member of House Armed Services Committee, released a statement following the Biden Administration’s decision to locate U.S. Space Command (USSPACECOM) Headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

WASHINGTON— Over the summer, Representative Dale W. Strong welcomed 16 interns from schools across the Southeast to intern in his Huntsville, Decatur, and Washington D.C. offices. All congressional internships are paid, but more importantly students gain invaluable work experience to benefit them in their future endeavors. 

WASHINGTON— Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24) by a vote of 219-210. Representative Dale W. Strong (AL05), a member of the House Armed Services Committee (HASC), was proud to vote in favor of final passage.  

WASHINGTON— Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed Representative Dale W. Strong’s (AL-05) amendment during consideration of the Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24) National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

WASHINGTON— Representative Dale W. Strong (AL-05) successfully blocked a second attempt to use this year’s National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) to further delay the announcement of the permanent location of Space Command (SPACECOM) headquarters.

WASHINGTON— During the House Armed Services Committee (HASC) markup of the Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24) National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), U.S. Representative Dale W. Strong (AL-05) stopped a last-ditch effort to further delay the announcement of U.S. Space Command (SPACECOM) headquarters when a member of the Colorado delegation filed an amendment to strike a provision intended to force a decision from the Air Force Secretary.
