WASHINGTON — Congressman Dale W. Strong (AL-05) announced his nomination of 30 students across North Alabama to United States service academies.
Prior to receiving a U.S. service academy nomination through Congressman Strong, candidates must meet certain academic, leadership, and character standards. Congressman Strong’s inaugural nomination slate consists of public, private, specialty, and homeschooled student leaders.

WASHINGTON – The Fiscal Year 2024 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) includes a provision championed by Representative Dale Strong (AL-05) which prohibits funding from being used to expand U.S. Space Command (SPACECOM) headquarters in Colorado Springs, CO.
WASHINGTON – U.S. Representative Dale Strong’s (AL-05) FINISH IT Act has been included in the Fiscal Year 2024 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
WASHINGTON — Congressman Dale W. Strong (AL-05) has formally requested that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) keep Jackson County in the Huntsville Designated Market Area (DMA).
The FCC, by way of market analytics firm Nielsen, recently reassigned Jackson County to the Chattanooga, Tenn., DMA. Congressman Strong is asking the FCC to reverse this decision in the interest of public safety.
In a letter to FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel, Rep. Strong wrote:
