WASHINGTON – Today, the U.S. House of Representatives unanimously approved Representative Dale W. Strong’s (AL-05) amendment to the Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development (THUD) Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24) Appropriations Bill.  

WASHINGTON—U.S. Representative Dale Strong issued the following statement after the House voted 226-196 to pass the Israel Security Supplemental Appropriations Act:

WASHINGTON— Today, the House of Representatives voted on a ‘motion to vacate’ Speaker Kevin McCarthy. Congressman Dale W. Strong (AL-05) voted to support McCarthy and bring unity to the party. 

Strong Statement After Vote to Avoid Government Shutdown, Pay Our Troops 

WASHINGTON— The U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 5860, legislation to extend funding for the federal government for 45 days by a vote of 335-91. Rep. Dale Strong voted in favor of H.R. 5860 and released the following statement.  

WASHINGTON— Today, Congressman Dale W. Strong (AL-05) voted in support of H.R. 5525—Spending Reduction and Border Security Act. With the fiscal year ending tomorrow night, a stop-gap measure is necessary to keep the government open while Congress continues to work through the appropriations process.  

WASHINGTON— Representative Dale W. Strong (AL-05) joined his colleagues in the House Armed Services Committee (HASC) to question key Department of Defense (DoD) witnesses regarding the irregularity in the strategic basing process for U.S. Space Command (USSPACECOM).
