It secures massive tax cuts for American families and businesses, complete border security, a supercharged economy, and accountability in taxpayer-funded programs, while reducing out-of-control government spending,” said Representative Dale Strong.

WASHINGTON – U.S. Representative Dale Strong, a member of the House Appropriations Committee, voted today in support of H.R. 3944, the Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2026. The vital legislation championing veterans, supporting military families, and prioritizing infrastructure upgrades, passed the House of Representatives on a 218-206 vote.

WASHINGTON — Today, Representative Dale Strong (AL-05) announced the appointments of 22 students from Alabama’s Fifth Congressional District to attend U.S. service academies. 

The Fifth District tied fourth nationally for the total number of accepted West Point candidates from a single congressional district and second in the Southeast region.
